Cartile pe care-mi doresc sa le citesc/ Books I’d like to read

Buna tuturor,

Hello everyone,

Considering that my blog is called Not just makeup, I thought it’s about time to also write about other interests of mine. So today I will write briefly on a few books that I want to read them in near future.

  • Satanic Blood by Cristina Nemerovschi – I first heard about this book from my boyfriend which loved it. As I understood, it’s an easy read, it’s fun, and although it has 359 pages, the font is quite large, so it shouldn’t take me too much time to finish it. It’s also great because I dn’t have to buy it, considering that my boyfriend already has it.

PS: Sorry, but I don’t think the book it’s translated in English. If I’ll find it somewhere I’ll update you.

  • Tesla: Man Out of Time written by Margaret Cheney – it’s a book that I wanted to read ever since I was in Belgrade, 2 years ago, and I visited The Tesla Museum. The museum is absolutely fascinating. It contains documentaries about his life, a few inventions which you can “play” with (I would say that I liked this part best), the clothes that he wore and documents written after his death that demonstrate, contrary to popular opinion, that Tesla didn’t die of hunger and without a penny in his pocket, on the contrary. All these things had made me want to know more details about the man and inventor Nikola Tesla.

  • The Invisible Man scris de H.G.
  • The Invisible Man written by H. G. Wells – it’s a classic and it’s described as a masterpiece of science fiction that tells the fascinating story of Griffin, a scientist who believes that if a person changes the refractive index to become identical with the air one, his body won’t absorb or reflect light, but he will become invisible.

I think I planned enough to read for before this year ends. Now I’m try to finish the Millennium series by Stieg Larsson. I have 200 pages left of The Girl Who kicked the Hornet’s Nest (the last book of the series) and I can’t wait to read the denouement.

What books are you reading now or plan to read?
