Missha M Perfect Cover B.B Cream
I like this BB cream so much. It gives my skin a natural, very hydrated finish. It makes the pores look smaller and the skintone is a lot more even. It doesn’t look or feel heavy on my skin, but I need to keep an eye on it around the middle of the day and apply some powder in my T zone. It also layers well over sunscreen (see the ones below). The shade 13 is not perfect for me this time of year, as it is too light, but I can make it work by adding two drops of Benefit Hello Flawless foundation. Next time I’ll try Nr. 21.
Zoeva Matte palette
I bought this palette at the beginning of May and I can’t get enough of it. The formula is buttery, doesn’t have much fallout and is very pigmented. I like that I can easily create very day-appropriate looks with it but also some more impactful ones.
Urban Decay Naked Ultra Nourishing Lipgloss
The shade Liar is so pretty and summer-appropriate. The formula is a bit sticky but it doesn’t feel heavy on my lips. It actually is nourishing and I used it many times instead of lip balm. Is not going to repair cracked lips, but it’s good enough for when your lips are a bit dry.
Yves Rocher Sexy Pulp Ultra-Volumen Mascara – Extreme Black*
For the past years I heard so many bloggers raving about this mascara and I was always curious if it’s that good. For some reason I always forgot to pick it up. Now that I finally got to try it, I can understand the hype around it. It is indeed a pretty black formula, it separates and defines my lashes from the first coat applied. If I apply 2 coats my lashes get a bit stuck together and they start looking more dramatically. It’s pretty easy to take it off with micellar water (I’m using now the regular Garnier one) or cleansing oil (The Body Shop Camomile one).
NYX HD Blush in Taupe
I have this product since last December and I can’t get enough of it. It suits my fair skin and it doesn’t look harsh. I like the formula and that I can control the amount of product I’m placing under my cheekbones. If I’m lazy or in a hurry I will use it in my crease to create a natural shade on my eyelids.
Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado
Another very well known product in the beauty community and for good reason. It’s very hydrating and I use it day and night. With the specification that in the daytime I use very little of it because I don’t want my makeup to crease over it. It doesn’t irritate my skin and it provides hydration for a long period of time. Even if it’s pretty expensive, for me is the most effective eye cream I found so far and I will continue to repurchase it.
Missha all around Safe Block
So far I have Essence Sun Milk and Waterproof Sun Milk. Since I tried korean sunscreens I keep asking myself how I managed to apply makeup over european sunscreens before. These ones feel so confortable on my skin, they dry fast and they allow makeup to apply nicely over them. My favorite is Essence Sun Milk because it’s more hydrating then the other one and it leaves no white cast after application. The waterproof version leaves a bit of a white cast (nothing compared to “traditional” sunscreens) and it feels a bit more tight on my face. I still enjoy using it when I know I’ll get sweaty thoughout the day or if my skin has a chance to get wet.
Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Eau de Parfum
I’m bad at describing scents, but I’ll just say it’s a lovely non-offensive, perfect to wear at the office or everyday perfume. I like it a lot in the summertime as the top notes are peach and freesia. Here you can find the description of the perfume.
