Drugstore Makeup Starter Kit – must haves

I know how frustrating it is for a someone that wants to get into makeup to go into a store and try to pick up some products that will work for them, are easy to use and budget friendly, because at least for me, I didn’t know if I’ll like wearing makeup and I didn’t want to just throw my money out the window in case I didn’t enjoy applying makeup regularly.

This post is all about the must haves for a beginner – for the rest of the stuff I’ll make a separate article were I’ll talk all about eyeshadow primers, highlighters, eyeliners and so on because, otherwise, I think I’ll just end up confusing you guys with all these different products. I don’t consider foundation as being a must have for someone so the will also be in the other article.

Stiu cat de frustrant este pentru un cineva care vrea sa inceapa sa foloseasca machiaj sa mearga intr-un magazin si sa incerce sa cumpere cateva produse care sa functioneze pentru ea, sa fie usor de utilizat si sa nu coste prea mult, deoarece cel putin pentru mine, nu stiam daca imi va placea sa ma machiez si nu-mi doream sa arunc cu banii pe fereastra in cazul in care n-as fi purtat machiajul in mod regulat.

In actest articol voi discuta despre produsele pe care le consider necesare unui incepator – pentru restul lucrurilor voi scrie un articol separat in care voi vorbi despre primer pentru fardul de pleoape, iluminatoare, dermatografe si asa mai departe, deoarece, altfel, cred ca voi ajunge sa va derutez cu toate aceste produse. Nu consider ca fondul de ten este un produs necesar, asadar il voi pune in celalalt articol.

• Concealer – Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer – it’s my favorite concealer at the moment. It’s easy to apply and doesn’t crease too much on me (so far I didn’t find a concealer that doesn’t crease at all on me). It doesn’t have the greatest coverage but I like to use it in the center of my face. To be honest, I don’t have much to cover on my face and this is why I don’t feel like a foundation is a necessary product in a beginner starter kit. I wouldn’t use this product on my blemishes. For blemishes you could buy the essence match2cover! cream concealer, where you’ll have two creamy shades and you can apply them over your acne. I think that it has a good coverage.
• Blush – if you want a cheaper, but good blush you can try one from essence. They’re a bit powdery but I like that they have pretty colors and nice formulas.
• Powder – Rimmel London Stay Matte. Powder. I know that almost everybody’s recommending this one, but to be fair, it’s a really great powder. It controls your shine for about 4 hours, it doesn’t make your face flat (but be careful not to apply a tone of it because it will end up looking cakey). I like wearing this powder with a bit of concealer under my eyes. It makes me look nice and fresh.
• Concealer – Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer – e anticearcanul meu preferat in acest moment. Este usor de aplicat si nu mi se strange in liniile fine prea mult (pana acum n-am gasit un anticearcan care sa nu mi se stranga in liniile fine). Acest produs nu are cea mai mare acoperire, dar imi place sa-l folosesc in centrul fatei. Sincera sa fiu, nu prea am imprefectiuni de acoperit, mai mult incerc sa uniformizez nuanta pielii. De aceea nu simt ca un fond de ten este necesar pentru un incepator, dar totusi, nu as folosi acest produs pe cosuri, deoarece are tendinta sa le evidentieze. Pentru a acoperi cosurile, as recomanda folosirea produsului essence match2cover! cream concealer, unde veti avea doua nuante cremoase pe care le puteti amesteca (in functie de culoarea pielii pe care o aveti) si apoi le puteti aplica peste acnee. Consider ca acest produs are o acoperire buna.
• Fard de obraz – daca vreti un fard de obraz mai ieftin si, de asemenea, bun, puteti incerca unul de la essence. Sunt putin prafoase, dar imi plac pentru ca au nuante frumoase si formule bune.
• Pudra – Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder. Stiu ca aproape toata lumea recomanda acest produs, si pe buna dreptate – este o pudra foarte buna. Aceasta controleaza uleiul natural al pielli timp  de aproximativ 4 ore, nu face fata sa arate plata (dar aveti grija sa nu aplicati o tona de produs pentru ca veti ajunge sa aratati inestetic). Imi place sa port asta pudra cu putin anticearcan sub ochii. Imi ofera un look placut si proaspat.

• Eyeshadow – Wet’n’Wild or Maybelline Color Tattoo. Honestly, I’m really picky when it comes to eyeshadows. Other than this two products I don’t really like drugstore eyeshadows. I love high-end eyeshadows and I think they’re worth investing in. But, in my opinion, these ones are really comparable with the high-end ones and they have a nice color selection and they’re easy to use. Plus they’re pretty cheap.
• Mascara – Maybelline Volum’ Express The Falsies Flared Mascara. In general the Maybelline ones are really worth the money and they have lots of options for any type of lashes and any type of result. I tried so far The Rocket and The Falsies. The Rocket is so and so for me – sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it. What’s for sure is that I don’t like the fact that it has a rubber brush. But I love Maybelline The Falsies. For me it can be used as daytime mascara, if I’m applying just one coat, and nighttime mascara, if I build it up.
• Brows – essence make me brow eyebrow gel mascara. I like this product because I don’t have to use a shadow or a pencil to fill in my brows, especially for lighter makeup days where I don’t want to look too made up.
• Mascara – Maybelline Volum’ Express The Falsies Flared Mascara. In general, mascara de la Maybelline intr-adevar isi merita banii si au o mulțime de optiuni pentru orice tip de gene si orice rezultat doresti. Am incercat pana acum The Rocket si The Falsies. The Rocket mi s-a parut asa si asa – uneori imi place, uneori n-o suport. Cu siguranta nu-mi place faptul ca are o perie de cauciuc. Dar imi place Maybelline The Falsies Flared. Pentru mine, aceasta mascara, poate fi folosita ca una de zi-de-zi, daca aplic doar un strat, iar pentru un machiaj dramatic pot adaugat 2-3 stragturi.
• Sprancene – essence make me brow eyebrow gel mascara. Imi place acest produs pentru ca nu trebuie sa utilizez un fard sau un creion pentru a-mi umple sprancenele, in special in zile cu machiaj mai lejer, cand nu vreau sa port prea mult machiaj.
• Fard de Pleoape – Wet’n ‘Wild sau Maybelline Color Tattoo. Sincer, sunt foarte pretentioasa cand vine vorba de farduri de pleoape. In afara de aceste doua produse nu prea-mi plac fardurile low-end. Imi plac foarte mult fardurile high-end si cred ca merita investitia. Dar aceste produse pe care vi le-am prezentat mai sus sunt foarte comparabile, din punctul meu de vedere, cu fardurile de pleoape high-end si au o selectie larga de culori din care puteti alege. Plus sunt destul de ieftine.

• Lipstick – the Rimmel ones are creamy, they have a nice scent (at least for me) that doesn’t lingers on throughout the day. They’re pretty cheap and they have lots of colors. Tip: you can have just two lipsticks at the beginning – try to find a lipstick that’s a “you’re lips but better” shade – for day to day and one that’s a bright color – for special occasion.
• Ruj – cele de la Rimmel sunt cremoase, au un miros placut (cel putin pentru mine), care nu persista pe tot parcursul zilei. Sunt destul de ieftine si au o multime de culori. Sfat: ati putea luat, pentru inceput, doar doua rujuri – incercati sa gasiti un ruj care o nuanta de genul “buzeleor mele, dar mai placut” – pentru purtat zi de zi si o nuanta mai intensa – pentru ocazii speciale.

You don’t have to use the same products that I chose – they are here just for suggestion. If you’re truly a beginner with makeup I’d advise you to create a budget for it and really look yourself in the mirror. Try to figure out what you need the most and prioritize – you don’t need to buy all the products at once. You can also try to read more blog posts on this theme and watch some videos, especially from you country because not all the products are available everywhere.

Nu trebuie sa folositi aceleaai produse pe care am ales eu – le-am pus aici doar pentru sugestie. Daca sunteti incepatoare cu machiajul v-as sfatui sa va creati un buget dedicat pentru acest lucru si uitati-va cu atentie in oglinda. Incercati sa va dati seama de ce aveti nevoie cel mai mult si ordonati-le dupa prioritate – nu-i nevoiw sa le cumparati pe toate de-o data. De asemenea, puteti incerca sa cititi mai multe articole pe aceasta tema si vedeti cateva videoclipuri, mai ales de la voi din tara, deoarece nu toate produsele sunt disponibile peste tot.
